Information on the Pine Hollow trail in American Fork Canyon. This is Trail #047 in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. See the USFS Official Info page for more details.
Parking for the trailhead is at N 40.449877 W 111.643579. Parking space is ample, but this is a popular location and it can get pretty crowded on holiday weekends. The trail has a primitive restroom, and I think there might still be a picnic table at the West end of the parking lot.
Trail starts just up the road at N 40.449966 W 111.643206
This is a trail I know well, having trekked it probably 30 time in the past few years. It’s one of my favorites and is accessible year round. It’s not very long, merging into other trails only a few miles in, but it starts and finishes a lot of really great hikes.
It ends right about 2 miles in where it joins to Ridge Trail#157.
